The aims of ELSTA (English Language Support Teachers Association ) are:
1. To support TESOL (Teachers of English as a Second or Other Language) in their new challenges in the classroom.
2. To provide intercultural support for all – teachers and students (both Irish and International)
The Association hopes to achieve these aims through self-education (seminars/conferences, etc.) and also intends becoming a lobby group for the improvement of services in this area.
